Generally speaking, we usually advise our customer to ship the trailer by container, when the trailers can be put in the container. The reasons are as following:

1. Shipping trailers by container can save much shipping cost. Such as the two flatbed , if you ship them as bulk, the shipping cost to Dar es Salam will be 12650USD(just for reference). But if you transit by container, the shipping cost will be just 8600USD(just for reference).

2. There are more ships glad to ship container. For example, There's a ship going Dar es Salam every Saturday now. But the shipment date for bulk cargo is uncertain.

3. Shipping trailers by container can avoid bumps and rain erosion. There are many bulk in the ship, the trailer will be bumped by other things easily. And the ship will be at sea for at least a month. During this month, the bulk will meet the erosion of rainwater. But the trailer in container will not.
